The Valley of the Sun boasts a wide range of accomodation to suit all budgets. The major motel and hotel chains are well represented with mutiple locations across the valley. For the business traveller this means that it is easy to find somewhere that is well situated close to business locations and the freeway network.
There are also several resort hotels that typically include one or more restaurants, pool and sport facilities. These are clustered in the Scottsdale / Paradise Valley areas so also offer good access to shopping and dining.
Room rates vary quite widely with the seasons with the hot days of summer being by far the cheapest time to visit. It is worth keeping an eye out for deals at this time of year as resorts in particular will often offer packaged food and drink options at advantegous rates.
The Phoenix and Scottsdale areas now boast a number of boutique hotels in addition to the traditional five star resorts. Sanctuary on Camelback is situated in Paradise Valley on the lower slopes of Camelback Mountain. It provides luxury accommodation in a relaxed atmosphere. There is a lively restaurant and bar on site that is popular with locals and provides a high standard of food.
